Swarmkeeper Ranger

Feature Description
Gathered Swarm At 3rd level, you bond with a swarm of intangible nature spirits. The swarm appears as a group of swarming insects, miniature twig blights, fluttering birds, or playful pixies. After you hit a creature with an attack, you can choose one of the following effects:
  • The target takes 1d6 piercing damage from the swarm.
  • The target must make a Strength saving throw or be moved 15 feet in a direction of your choice.
  • You are moved 5 feet in a direction of your choice.
Swarmkeeper Magic At 3rd level, you learn the Mage Hand cantrip (which takes the form of your swarm). You also learn additional spells as shown below.
Swarmkeeper Spells:
3rd: Faerie Fire, Mage Hand
5th: Web
9th: Gaseous Form
13th: Arcane Eye
17th: Insect Plague
Writhing Tide At 7th level, you can condense part of your swarm into a mass that lifts you up. As a bonus action, you gain a flying speed of 10 feet and can hover for 1 minute or until incapacitated. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining uses on a long rest.
Mighty Swarm At 11th level, your Gathered Swarm becomes more powerful. The damage increases to 1d8. If a creature fails its Strength saving throw to avoid being moved, it is knocked prone. You also gain half cover when moved by the swarm until the start of your next turn.
Swarming Dispersal At 15th level, you can avoid danger by dispersing into your swarm. When you take damage, you can use your reaction to gain resistance to the damage and teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 30 feet. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining uses after a long rest.
