| Path of the Kensei | At 3rd level, you specialize in the mastery of weapons. You gain the following benefits: Kensei Weapons: Choose one melee and one ranged weapon as kensei weapons, making them monk weapons for you. You gain proficiency if you don’t already have it. Agile Parry: If you make an unarmed strike while holding a melee kensei weapon, you gain a +2 bonus to AC until your next turn. Kensei’s Shot: As a bonus action, you can deal an extra 1d4 damage with ranged attacks using a kensei weapon until the end of the turn. Way of the Brush: You gain proficiency with calligrapher’s supplies or painter’s supplies. |
| One with the Blade | At 6th level, your ki enhances your weapons: Magic Kensei Weapons: Your attacks with kensei weapons count as magical for overcoming resistance and immunity. Deft Strike: When you hit with a kensei weapon, you can spend 1 ki point to deal extra damage equal to your Martial Arts die (once per turn). |
| Sharpen the Blade | At 11th level, you can use ki to enhance your weapons. As a bonus action, you can spend up to 3 ki points to give one kensei weapon a bonus to attack and damage rolls equal to the ki points spent. This effect lasts 1 minute or until you use this feature again. Cannot be used on magic weapons that already have a bonus. |
| Unerring Accuracy | At 17th level, your mastery of weapons makes your strikes near-perfect. If you miss with an attack roll using a monk weapon, you can reroll it. This can be used once per turn. |
