At 3rd level, you learn to harness elemental power through ki. You know the Elemental Attunement discipline and one other elemental discipline of your choice. You learn additional disciplines at 6th, 11th, and 17th level. |
| Spellcasting with Ki |
Certain elemental disciplines allow you to cast spells using ki points. You do not need to provide material components for these spells. |
| Enhancing Elemental Spells |
Once you reach 5th level, you can spend additional ki points to cast elemental spells at a higher level, provided they have an enhanced effect when upcast. The maximum ki points you can spend on a spell is determined by your monk level. |
