| 3rd |
Tool Proficiency |
When you adopt this specialization at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with woodcarver's tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of artisan's tools of your choice. |

Eldritch Cannon |
At 3rd level, you learn to create a magical cannon. Using woodcarver's or smith's tools, you can create a Small or Tiny eldritch cannon in an unoccupied space. The cannon has an AC of 18 and hit points equal to five times your artificer level. It has immunity to poison and psychic damage. You can only have one cannon at a time, and you can use a bonus action to activate it or move it if it has legs. |
| 5th |
Arcane Firearm |
At 5th level, you can turn a wand, staff, or rod into an arcane firearm. When you cast an artificer spell through it, you roll a d8, and gain a bonus to one of the spell’s damage rolls equal to the number rolled. This firearm acts as a spellcasting focus for your artificer spells. |
| 9th |
Explosive Cannon |
At 9th level, your eldritch cannons become more destructive. The cannon's damage rolls increase by 1d8, and you can command the cannon to detonate. This destroys the cannon and forces creatures within 20 feet to make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC, taking 3d8 force damage on a failed save, or half on a success. |
| 15th |
Fortified Position |
At 15th level, you can create well-defended emplacements with your eldritch cannons. You and your allies within 10 feet of a cannon gain half cover. You can also create two cannons at once, and activate both with the same bonus action. You can't create a third cannon while you have two. |
